Karin Taylor
Karin has been a licensed architect since 1996. She received a B.S. in Textiles from Davis and a Master of Architecture from the University of Colorado in Denver.
Karin relies heavily on the use of perspective drawings and sketches to develop and craft design solutions. Client relationships --connections-- are vital to understanding the needs of each project. The strength of design talent within the Taylor Yang office, coupled with the breadth of projects and rewarding client relationships, keeps Karin focused on continuing to passionately develop her best work.
Karin lives in her native Sausalito with her husband and young son. Much of her free time is spent learning the art of winemaking at her family's vineyard in the Dry Creek Valley in Sonoma County.
Helen Yang Fung
Helen is a transplanted New Yorker. She received her Bachelor of Architecture degree from Binghamton University with a minor in Art History. She is licensed to practice architecture in California and has been a NCIDQ certificate holder since 2001.
Helen began her career working at a mid-town Manhattan architecture firm that specialized in high end residential design. Migrating west with her family in 2003, she continued practicing architecture and interior design. She has over 25 years of experience ranging from custom residential design to corporate and commercial interiors, maintaining the same high level of personal attention on every project. She considers incorporating the interests of her clients paramount throughout the entire design and building process. Helen truly enjoys navigating her clients through the creative journey of realizing their design vision.
Recently, Helen took a year-long sabbatical to fulfill another passion; she completed the Le Cordon Bleu Diplome in Culinary Arts at the California Culinary Academy in San Francisco. She lives in Greenbrae with her husband and two daughters.
